What to Expect

As you plan your burial or memorial service, it’s important to know what to expect during the process.

  • Columbarium

    - Opening/closing of niche

    - Engraving the niche plaque

    - Placing the urn (urn can be provided if needed)

    - Installing the engraved niche plaque once completed (typically a 5-6 week process)

    - Upkeep/maintenance of the columbarium & cemetery

    Burial Plots

    - Placement of plot identification corner markers 

    - Upkeep/maintenance of cemetery grounds

  • Funeral homes are generally responsible for the following services you may need during your burial/memorial service:

    - Opening/closing grave plot

    - Purchasing and placing grave markers

    - Transferring cremated remains to urns

    - Providing tents, chairs, flowers, carpets and other service needs
